This release makes the CYNC Roll Score easier to understand and act on, and adds two anticipated features golfers have been asking for...

On the CRS side, we're clarifying the language and ranges behind every metric so a golfer opening the app for the first time understands what they're looking at without guessing. Each metric now opens into a short "Learn More" explainer (with video) the first time it's viewed, then drops the golfer into a simplified Performance view with clear green/yellow/red ranges. The Bounce Ratio is the worked example throughout this doc, but the same treatment rolls out across all CRS and Outcome metrics.

Alongside that, this release adds Launch Monitor Grass/Turf mode (toggle, with Bent, Bermuda, and Poa Annua grass options) and Spoken Feedback, which reads each putt's results aloud through headphones.

New "Learn More" Metric Education Flow

The first time a golfer opens any metric, they land on the Learn More tab: a short verbal overview plus a quick video on why the metric matters, then the app automatically returns them to the Performance tab. On every visit after that, tapping the metric goes straight to Performance.

Bounce Ratio — Worked Example

Bounce Ratio is the example carried through this update. The Performance tab (what a golfer sees after that first Learn More visit) states the optimal range plainly with a green/yellow/red read, instead of a raw number the golfer has to interpret themselves.

Note: many of the ranges in the current version give inaccurate "where you stand" reads — the raw numbers underneath are correct, and the ranges are being dialed in for the next release. The table below is the corrected sub-metric performance tier scheme.

NEW Addition: Launch Monitor: Grass / Turf Mode

The Launch Monitor mode selector has added the option to choose your surface as Grass/Turf (changed from Indoor/Outdoor). Choosing Grass opens a second dropdown for the specific surface:

  • Bermuda Grass

  • Poa Annua Grass

NEW Addition: Spoken Feedback

Golfers can turn on Spoken Feedback to hear each putt's results read aloud through their headphones, instead of having to look down at the phone after every stroke.
